Faralicq Investigators - Our history
FARALICQ Agency was founded in 1924 by René Faralicq, Doctor of Law, Professor at the Institute of Criminology and former Chief Police Superintendent, head of the Parisian Brigade Criminelle (part of the Criminal Investigations Department).
Among his cases was the arrest of LANDRU, the infamous serial killer.
René Faralicq's long experience of police methods and his highly competent associates earned him a first-class international reputation from the moment he opened his agency. The Agency's success was immediate, as numerous research and surveillance problems in the industrial, economic, financial and family law fields were solved.
In 1947, Louis-Lucien QUENAND and Simon LEWIS, information specialists, founded their own agency, which particularly specialised in combating industrial and economic espionage in its many forms.
A tight collaboration between the two agencies over many years was the basis of the 1961 merger.
Ever since, the Agency has continued to improve methodologies adapted to technological and information technology evolutions.
En 1983, Eric QUENAND, son of the co-founder, became head of the Agency. In 1995 the Agency, which had been expanding, became a limited company and took the name FARALICQ Ltd.
- 1996 saw the creation of the first subsidiary branch of the Faralicq group in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Department of Hauts de Seine).
- In 1999, a growing demand from the economic centre of Versailles and its region led to the creation of a new agency in the historical heart of old Versailles. Elisabeth QUENAND, daughter of the co-founder, joined the team the same year and, with her brother Eric, took on the co-management of the group.
- The co-management of the Versailles agency fell to Manuel SALGUEIRO, the group's oldest associate.
- 2000 saw the development of the group all over France and particularly in PACA (Provence-Alpes-Cotês d'Azur) and in MONACO.
- In 2006 partnerships were developed with offices in Israel, Luxembourg and China (Beijing).
- In 2007, a new structure saw the day: EUROP CONTENTIEUX was developed by Elisabeth, her brother Eric and Philippe CISSE, tailored to meet the demands of major accounts for the management of financial inquiries and litigations.
- 2007 was also the year that the first national network of private investigators saw the day. The network, an initiative of Eric QUENAND, who is also its manager, respects the norms and a common code of ethics: www.lapreuve.fr
- In 2008, with the collaboration of numerous professionals of the law, FARALICQ produced the first ever site dedicated uniquely to unfair competition that allows the user to find answers to his or her problems:
